Victoria - Bacchus Marsh

Bacchus Marsh

Contrary to expectation, this town was named after a person (Capt. William Henry Bacchus), so while I'm sure there is no shortage of pubs to get your drink on, you won't find the place lush with lushes.

One place that may have had some drinking is the 1904 Amalgamated Miners' Association building at #148 Main Street (Highway C802, former Western Highway), though none of the current establishments there appear to facilitate it.

Heading north out of town on Gisborne Road (Highway C704), look right for St. Andrew's (Uniting) Church and left for the Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
