From the Great Ocean Road, I spy Painkalac Creek entering the Bass Strait at Sentinel Rock. (It doesn't breach the sandbar unless there's a high tide or rainfall pushing water to the sea.) You get one guess what this inlet is called.


Aireys Inlet also has the Split Point Lighthouse, built in 1891.
