Details from the former main entrance. This is still an active passenger station, but much smaller than in its heyday, so only the little bit all the way to the left (east) is still in use.


Inside and all around the lobby from right to left. The platform is straight back if you have your ticket and are prepared to descend a long flight of stairs. Or the cargo slide. (You'll understand that reference after Seeing the rest of Union Station at the big link at bottom.)


The lobby seems to have been part of whatever event was here last. So celebratory. Can't you feel it.


Architectural/photographical intrigue. There's something very suggestive about the wall trim.
