All photos were taken heading south from Babinda.


Mostly westward-facing photos of the Mt. Bartle Frere foothills until the Josephine Falls turnoff.


Eastward-facing photos (Seymour Range and Clump Mountain) bracket a bunch of southwesterly Basilisk Range photos, ending with a view of the Walter Hill Range in the distance. All but the first photo are south of Innisfail.


If you're not sure which way a photo faces, it's west. We have 4 photos of the Walter Hill Range, then Mt. Tippett, then the last 3 photos pivot from SW to NW passing Mt. Tyson at the foot of the Walter Hill Range in Tully.

Southwest (Kirrama Range), southeast (Hinchinbrook Island), due south (Mt. MacAlister foothills).


My only ocean glimpses of my journey came in Cardwell. The first two photos look south at Hinchinbrook Island, with Mt. Pitt, Barra Castle Hill, and Mt. Burnett from left to right. The last photo is Goold Island, which is just north (left) of Hinchinbrook Island.


Two photos to the west, three to the south starting with a view of Damper Hill and ending at Five Mile Creek. Or, under metrification, Eight Kilometre Creek.


A bunch of southwestward views of the Cardwell Range. Turns out that weird bump is just a nodule on the side of Damper Hill.


Photos start toward Hinchinbrook Island to the east and gradually end up facing west toward Gardiner Mountain in Bemerside.


All northwest-facing, starting with two left/right pairs showcasing the Mount Leach Range (of which Gardiner Mountain is part). Mt. Leach itself is the skinny peak to the right in the last photo.
