This hill is Pukekaroro.


The prominence to the right of the 2nd photo is Poukepohatu or Bald Rock. The third photo looks left (west).


In the hills north of Brynderwyn, Highway 1 opens up to views across Bream Bay to Bream Head.


Plenty more views of Bream Head to go around. The last two photos highlight the nearer islands of Bream Bay: Wareware, Muriwhenua, Pupuha (all tiny), and West Chicken are the four islands in the penultimate photo, and Taranga is in the second photo, separated from the others by some open water.


Nearing Whangarei.
