Photos head north along the New England Highway (A15).


Cheating by starting in Whittingham, but here we have various mountains to view: Mount Royal (nearly due north) for 2 photos, Mirannie Mountain (closer, to the northeast), and Lambs Mountain (due east).


Entering Tenterfield, the Percy Hotel is on the left, and the 1867 Mechanic's Institute is on the right at #74 George Street (which is part of the New England Highway).


Continuing north with buildings of unknown provenance to Campbell Street approaching John Street. The old tyre centre certainly dates to when Campbell St. was still part of the New England Highway before being bypassed by the modern route.
