Stealing photos from Arizona, these look south and north just after exiting Interstate 40 at Exit 359 in Lupton, just before the New Mexico border.


Looking to the north, heading east into New Mexico.


Also plenty of scenery to the south, across I-40.


But the scenery on the north side is right up against State Route 118, making it easier to capture all this detail.


Once again, to the south.


I had to stop at this mini-canyon within a canyon and take a panorama of photos. I'm facing south, panning from west to east.


Back to northern and eastern views.


So north, the first photo's even a bit west.


Looking south just past Exit 8 on I-40.


I get fascinated by a peculiar notch to the east-southeast, and then across I-40 in Defiance.


I got so fascinated, I had to turn back west for one more photo of it before entering Gallup.
