New Jersey - Hopewell

Hopewell

The Nelson House was the kitchen for the Alexander Nelson Hotel. It dates to somewhere between 1826 and 1846, depending on whether it was part of the tavern that was there first or built for the hotel. It's in Washington Crossing, which is in Hopewell Township.

The 1876 Hopewell Train Station is in Hopewell Borough, a completely different political entity that was totally the same as the other Hopewell once. It's one of two similar Delaware & Bound Brook Railroad stations that survive.
