Omaha

Boys Town, which many of you may have heard of, got its start just west of Omaha as an orphanage in 1917. It's not just its own village; the boys elect their own government. The mural dates to 1950.

This is Lynhurst. Don't look for that, though, because it's known as the Joslyn Castle based on appearance and its former owners' name. It actually only dates to 1903. The last three photos are of the matching carriage house to the north.
