Maryland - Elk Neck

Elk Neck

Elk Neck is named for the Elk River on the east side. On the west side you see the upper reaches of Chesapeake Bay, looking southwest and northwest from two different vantage points.

Panning from east to west on the south side of Elk Neck. From here south there's a wide-open bay with plenty of shellfish.

The Turkey Point Lighthouse.
