Paducah

The Lloyd Tilghman Memorial is in a nice grassy circle at Fountain Avenue and Madison Street. Too bad I only got a photo of the sign.

Heading west along Jefferson Street to the Carnegie Library Memorial. The house is #2131, for reference. The memorial is actually for Oscar Turner, but is so named because it was in front of the library until the building burned down in 1970.

Jefferson Street has a few monuments. The 1937 flood came all the way up to this sign on the west edge of the city, inundating over 90% of the city.
