Capilano River Gorge, in the North Vancouver District. It's home to a famous swinging rope-and-plank suspension bridge, from which the last photo was taken.

Point Atkinson Lighthouse is due west of Suicide Bend Park.


This little islet off of Eagle Island in West Vancouver seems like a wonderful place to live, but a bit of a rough commute at high tide.

Jumping to a different ferry terminal and city, this millennial orca stands at the Tsawwassen ferry dock in Delta. It was part of a 2004 "Orcas in the City" artist showcase.


Into Vancouver proper, the 1929 Dick Building is at 2506 Granville Street.


Chalmers' Presbyterian Church was built in 1912 and is now the Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
