British Columbia - Ladysmith

Ladysmith

Heading south, the right side of 1st Avenue is full of historic buildings, all the way down to... wait, what is that? Is that... yes, yes it is. Remember, until coopted by the Nazis, the swastika was a symbol of peace in many cultures, including First Nations, so this decor was considered propitious at the time. But it really should have been changed in the 1940s.

Continuing down 1st Avenue.
