Beacon Hill is a road, not just a hill. This is kinda like a street sign, except it has someone's name on the bottom. Betty Hayward lived on this road until 2011, and then she died on this road. The sign was of course around when she was alive, but I was there when she was not. I have lost the context as to whether this was a driveway sign, which would be very odd to have someone's name on a seeming town-installed sign. (It uses the correct font and has rounded corners.) Still, less odd than having a resident's name on the street sign, even though her property was right at this corner (west end of the road).
