Welcome to M2, enjoy your trip at 60 km/h. Unfortunately, just about the whole motorway was under this pitiful speed limit for construction. Fortunately, it didn't seem to be either enforced or followed.


Passing under signs meant for reversible NB traffic and Seacombe Rd.


These rock cuts are less than 20 years old for the original M2, and now the rock has to be cut back again for the dualisation. Waste of effort, if they had any idea M2 would be dualised back then.


The last several photos feature work at Majors Road.


Instead of building a new overpass and the roadway beneath, the future NB lanes just ramp up to Glenthorne Path for the time being. That's because this overpass was later simply removed with no replacement.


This series of photos ends at the future NB entrance ramp from Panalatina Rd./A13 (the interchange indicated on the sign on the main M2 page).

The sign in the 5th photo says "Sherriffs Road 1 km" and I'm coming to the Moore Rd. overpass, so this is a perfect break point for the second round of construction photos.
