WB at Guernsey Cove Rd., which runs northward to the left. To the left of west is usually south, meaning Route 18 heads directly against itself. It's a reverse C shape, briefly heading north past Cape Bear but otherwise east-west for roughly half its length on either side of the C. There's no good candidate for directional signing, but at the very least north makes a tiny amount of sense, while west makes none whatsoever.
