Ontario Roads - Niagara RR 37

RR 50 (Niagara St.) SB at RR 37. If that "TO" looks awfully like an afterthought, it is - this was Highway 58 until 1997, so the shield could definitely date from then.

RR 37 WB approaching RR 50. The two old signs are painfully obvious remnants of the era when Ontario maintained an adequate and cohesive highway network, before downloading anything that wasn't an essential connector to the regions. The new sign is just painful. Should have left the old one standing, or if there wasn't one, better nothing than this.

The approach (looking west) to a future overpass (looking east) at a future interchange with Highway 406. The 406 is currently two lanes but in the process of being widened to four and improved by removing at least this at-grade intersection.
