New but interesting, the Smolen-Gulf Bridge was built in 2008 because people felt there ought to be a covered bridge here. It's way too wide and safe, says I. These photos head south out of the city and into the eponymous county.

As I cross Main Ave. on 44th St., the 1910 Ashtabula Federal Building (more than just a post office!) is on the southeast corner.
