NZ 56

All photos were taken southbound.

Starting my journey across the railroad in Longburn.

Australia is known for its Big Things but there are a few random ones scattered around New Zealand. You'd never know Tiakitahuna was here if not for the rocket.

As you approach the Manawatu River, look north (56 SB is heading rather west for a moment) and catch the remains of the old crossing. The deck is gone, but the rest mysteriously remains, as if there was no salvageable value in it. Which means that an enterprising individual could still cross by way of the suspender ropes. If you want to one-up my photos, you now have motivation.

Why are we stuck with "RXR" instead of this?
