Three variations on a shield, from newest to oldest. They should all have "National" inside now. Which way does NH 87 go? Yes. (Tennant Creek, a.k.a. TC)


The historical marker sign does not go with this cairn, but the cairn is less than 10 km past the Tropic of Capricorn monument on the main NT page.


Leaving Alice Springs without a shield (wrongo), then leaving the territory with a "National" shield (righto, even though old and faded somehow). This is the only place I saw a border marked on a km post, which may be for lack of any named place in the next 100 km.
