Historic NJ 43 Ends

43 was part of US 30 and the designation was removed in 1953.
Historic Western End

43 ended with NJ 25/NJ 45 along US 30 at the Pennsylvania state line on the Ben Franklin Bridge in Camden until 1953. (It likely made it at least to the modern US 30/130 junction. Though it is unclear, I am assuming it continued west.)

30 west/historic 25 south/historic 45 north entering Pennsylvania.

30 east entering New Jersey as 25 north and 45 south began.

Looking northwest toward Pennsylvania from Camden. The whole bridge is and was 30, and 25/45 began in the middle of the bridge and headed east (right) into NJ.
Original Eastern End

43 ended along US 30 at NJ S4 (now NJ 157) in Absecon until 1952.
Historic Eastern End

In 1952, 43 was extended along NJ 56 to end with US 30 at Virginia Ave. in Atlantic City.

The end of 30/historic 43 east at Adriatic and Virginia Avenues. The overhead sign is the easternmost reference to 30.
