New Jersey Roads - Foul Rift
Foul Rift
The Roxburg Branch Rail Bridge was built across the Delaware River to serve PA's Martins Creek Power Plant from NJ. I don't know how I feel about PA using my home state like that, but at least it's a regular plant so there's no nuclear waste.
Perhaps a house I pass.
Power plant perspectives from north of the 1950s bridge.
This undersized underpass, perhaps for a driveway, yields the best cooling tower view of all. The railroad paralleling Foul Rift Rd. is the one that branches to Martins Creek.
Back east from the river.
Foul Rift Rd. itself then ducks under the rail line, only to then cross over it after serving the few riverside houses built with what I presume was an old station there.
