México Roads - Puebla

Estado de Puebla

Let's start in Puebla, on Blvd. Serdán SB. The old signs and signal are at Blvd. Norte, and the classic backwards signal is at Calle 25 Norte. Despite the sign, Av. Serdán does not turn right at Blvd. Norte.

More backward signals? Have more backward signals. This one's on Blvd. Forjadores de Puebla WB at Calle 6 Norte in Cholula.

The road to nowhere is paved with paving stones instead of asphalt and striped with a white centerline. This is Calle Revolución WB leaving San José Carpinteros and EB entering it.

At some point, they ran out of paving stones, so here's looking east from that point and then south on a different (unnamed) street.

A. Gorozpe, an important link between Hwys. 150 and 150D west of Tepeaca, crosses a railroad as it heads south from the latter to the former.

Sponsored speed hump marker, Calle 4 Sur heading north from Calle 9 Oeste in Tepeaca. The hump is by El Piston de Oro. Why not get new gold pistons in your engine?

Calle 3 Sur NB at Calle 3 Poniente (West), Miguel Negrete Pte. and then Colón Pte. There's a traffic signal at Miguel Negrete, so no need for the ancient ALTO sign to stick around. Why would the town split the sign in green and red? Why continue straight when it's much faster to head east to Hwy. 150 and out of town that way?

Other sights of Tepeaca: "El Rollo" clock tower, Zocalo (basically the town square/town hall), and lamps.

Back to road photos to end the page, Puebla Hwy. 529 SB entering Tecali de Herrera, then continuing straight onto Hwy. 534 because for some reason 529, 534, and 528 all end at each other. At least it's signed that way, since Mexican signs rarely reflect actual routings.
