Approaching the downtown Alphabet Loop, where exits are numbered from 2A to 2Y to avoid confusion. Yes, I said "avoid," not "create." Numbering is pushed and pulled on the various routes to make it sort-of work out. I-670 starts out with Exit 2T for I-35 SB and ends with Exit 2M for US 71 SB.


Right where Exit 2R leaves to the left, the Kansas City Convention Center crosses I-670. The massive suspension pylons hold the convention center up as it spans the freeway below and also allows the convention floor to be column-free.
