Minnesota Roads - Robert St., St. Paul
Robert Street, Saint Paul
Minneapolis is renowned for its unique cold-weather accommodation by having enclosed pedestrian walkways linking almost all of the downtown buildings. Heading south from 7th St. (MN 5), here are four walkways in a row in the sister city of St. Paul. In some locations, there are even two per block.
Heading south across the Robert Street (Arch) Bridge, next to a railroad span that's enticing in its own right. The railroad ends up as the middle deck of a sandwich just before Robert St. gets to the arch, with the lowest slice of bread being waterfront Shepard Rd.
