MD 6 WB at Nanjemoy Creek, but the western half of Charles County is a peninsula, so 6 has actually curled around to face east by this point.


A pair of MD 224 EB historical signs, the first of which is for General Joseph Hooker (clearly a sunny day). The second is at Sweden Point Rd. into Smallwood State Park.

The north end of MD 227 is at the historical estate of Marshall Hall, now reduced to ruins to the east of the road. Notice how Maryland groups route numbers together - 226 used to be here as well, but 227 absorbed it.
