SB in Belchertown, where MAUS 202 drops off MA 21 after a brief dalliance. The photo at top comes before these, where Maple St. heads to the right.


NB at the eastern end of the concurrency where MA 21 goes straight, although poorly signed, ending at MA 9 and tracing the old route to Boston referenced on the milepost in the east corner of the intersection.


Old Enfield Rd. continues north from MA 9 and dead-ends by the Quabbin Reservoir. Before the reservoir was dammed, this was part of MA 21, continuing north through the former town of Enfield, now submerged. The old guiderail post attests to its being a state highway.
