Indiana Roads - SR 441

IN State Road 441

SR 441 begins as the 1931 George Rogers Clark Memorial Bridge crosses the Wabash River out of Illinois. It's named after the Brigadier General who won key western Revolutionary War battles against the British in the Vincennes area. The church on the right is nearly as old, the 1826 St. Francis Xavier Cathedral.

Side views from Main St. looking west.

SR 441 turns right on former US 41 SB (6th St.). The Lincoln Heritage Trail heads north to Saint Clair St., former and becoming SR 61 outside the city. There aren't a lot of trailblazers left.
