The above head away from US 6 in each direction and are endearingly completely different.


The road east from IL 178 into Starved Rock State Park features what looks very much like a starved rock, if I were to imagine one.


West from said state park, I can see IL 178's Utica Bridge, built in 1962.

Now the drive south. Because there was a road meet in the park, I ended up on this span several times in the same day.


East toward the park and west along the Illinois River from the bridge.
