If you've ever been to Iowa or seen photos thereof, you may know that Iowa's state highway shield is in a boring circular shape. Marion County, or one of its contractors, decided that wasn't good enough, and came up with this unique specimen on CR T17 NB near Harvey. (There's not even one SB.) Based on this, I would recommend full-scale conversion around the state. It's... gorgeous.
