Texas - El Paso area missions

El Paso area missions

Driving around the north and east sides of the Ysleta Mission in eastern El Paso at Alameda Ave. (State Highway 20) and Zaragoza Rd.

The spoils of excess in Vista del Prado, on the way to the next mission along Farm Road 258.

In short form, Nuestra Seņora de Socorro Mission, in the eponymous town along Nevarez Rd. at Winn Rd.

Around the side, past the shrine, to the back of the mission.

San Elizario Chapel, also in the eponymous town. Although not technically a mission, it has the same function.

And compared to the other missions, this one is quite a bit more rambling. There's a school building among the other functions served on the site.

Chapel history on the grounds. The monuments were erected in 1936.

A grocery on the way back to State Highway 20 out of San Elizario.
