US 21/221 NB.


There is no VA 21, especially here in Independence heading to Wytheville. US 21 was truncated there, no longer extending the 47 miles to Bluefield or beyond because it was mostly multiplexed with other routes in WV and Ohio didn't want it around. North of Wytheville, I-77 takes over the rest of the route of 21 for the most part, and probably its distance signs as well.
