New York Roads - NY 9R

New Jersey-style LGS (except for the rounded corners) at the southern end of the route. From here it heads east to the next photo.

NY 470 WB, fairly obviously, just over a mile east of the photo above. NY 9R turns north for anoher 3/4 of a mile, then west about the same distance to its end. It doesn't seem to serve a whole lot of traffic or anything useful. My recommendation: number the bottom leg as more of NY 470, and kill the rest.

Looking at the northern side of the oldest blue sign on the route, on the NB side just shy of the northern end of NY 9R.

The shields are much older at the northern end than at the southern end.
