New York Roads - NY 990L

You're really not supposed to know what road you're on. On the short ride NY 990L shares with Chenango CR 32 outside Norwich, there's one shield in each direction with the mistaken font and, worse, the blabbed secret. The idea behind the lettered 900-series reference routes is that they're inventory numbers for state maintenance.

Here's the other of the two shields, as I start WB down the road, still also on CR 32 SB.

Assorted old reference markers and street signs heading back into Norwich and up to NY 12.

More of them back eastbound on Main St.
