New Mexico Roads - US 87

US 87

All photos are courtesy Michael Summa, northbound, and from 1984.

US 87 NB with a great multiplex shield, first entering Clayton and then exiting with US 64 WB, courtesy Michael Summa and taken in 1984. It's interesting that the two US routes would be grouped on one sign when they happen to split at that very intersection, and it's also interesting that the NM 370 shield couldn't be made in one piece (or is it foldable?). NM 18 was truncated much farther south, to Lovington, in 1988.
