New Mexico Roads - NM 124/old US 66

All photos are eastbound.

Across Rio San Jose west of McCartys, a town in need of an apostrophe.

The second old Whiting Brothers sign I've seen on old US 66. Wonder how far their reach once was.

Continuing into San Fidel, where one might find (or have found) the Zodiac Bar.

Through Cubero, with a shallow-angled shot of a painted pavement shield. The Indian route shield looks north.

NM 124 ends at this awkwardly proportioned sign, but old US 66 turns off and continues just in the nick of time.

Continue east on old US 66 from Mesita to Correo
