A short stub where MD 159 was realigned to make Chelsea Rd. (a trucking route) the through road instead of MD 159. This must have been done fairly recently (1990's?) because you can still see the ghosts of stripes past.


The first white sign is state-erected at Spesutia Rd. The second one has absolutely seen better days and does not appear to be state-erected. Clearly the state does not make signs so poorly that they fracture all over the place and require re-welding. The only other explanation is that a mad scientist became so insane, he attempted to reanimate something that had never been animate. It's at the northern beginning of MD 159 (Perryman Rd.) on the Old Post Road, MD 7.
