Well, this is really heading out of the Catania airport, not yet on SP 70 (the feeder route to the outlying Autostrada). To find out how fast your vehicle is allowed to go in Italy, click for closeup.


SP 70 outbound (mostly west) toward the Tangenziale, which is the A18 bypass of Catania. For a brief moment, a local road passes to the right of the outbound lanes, creating the wrong-way situation in the third photo.
