NB at a very shallow-angled fork with CT 138 WB, except that the CT 169 shields to the right of the first photo are where CT 138 comes in. In other words, CT 138 traffic has to turn sharply to or from its through route to cross CT 169. It doesn't seem possible in the westbound direction without cutting off a lot of traffic, and certainly not for larger vehicles.
